My earliest memories still stir those feelings of an impatient and overly excited 5 year old, waiting with my dad for our films to develop.  I still miss those special times with my Dad deeply. 

 

On one of those long summer days when we were finally able to see what appeared in the trays, he almost casually, at that moment, presented the idea of time, which I couldn’t grasp at that age, but his words have stayed with me ever since.

 

“You don’t have to create ‘art’ all the time, sometimes it’s enough to just document those moments, even if they are out of focus, they are still perfect as they are because those pictures are the real moments of your life. Each one of them is a unique half second. When you get good at photography, you will have the power to capture feelings as well. Whether they are sad or happy doesn’t matter because the moment you see them again you are looking at the true past in a beautiful and visual documentary of your life.”

 

I still remember standing there with an open mouth and with a deep belief that my dad truly is a magician!

 

Years passed and finally I understood the concept, but those few minutes and words of wisdom from my dad put me on a wonderful path that I’ve followed all my life.

 

I graduated with my second degree at the University of Fine Arts in Belgrade as a commercial photographer and achieved my master's in retouching in 2006. 

 

Shortly after I was teaching Photoshop level 1-10 at a university in Banja Luka for two-semesters, but after the first semester I decided it was time to open my first studio.

 

The studio was a blast and I loved every moment of it. I learned marketing and all the necessary admin along the way.

 

My main focus was on fashion and beauty at the time, but as the bookings rolled in, I got more and more inquiries for weddings, family shoots, etc. 

 

I’ve won many photography awards, some awarded by my peers in the photographic industry and some less prestigious but I’m equally proud of all of them. 

 

Over the years I’ve organised and held dozens of photographic workshops and ‘one on one’ photography course’s which I’ll be looking forward to getting back to next year.

 

In the last two years, I’ve specialized in intimate weddings, maternity, and family shoots.

 

My portfolio showcases some of my favourite images from the past few years. I strive to create photographs that not only capture a moment but also capture the feeling and essence of the special occasion.

 

For the last 11 years, I've been based in Aberdeen (Scotland) and I’m still a keen traveller so if you have a far-off wedding destination, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
